After the launch of Saiyaara, Ahaan Panday‘s rise to fame in a very short time has been one of the most talked-about aspects, and he is firmly placed among the hot new faces of Bollywood in 2025. The Mohit Suri directorial, co-starring Aneet Padda, has become a huge hit among the young audience, but with the actor’s sudden rise to stardom, there have been some disturbing incidents too, for the actor and his family, among them an ordeal that left them profoundly shaken. Deanne Panday, Ahaan’s mother, in a recent conversation, shared the story of how their lives changed so drastically in a very short time.
Ahaan Panday received a Letter Written With Blood
Their once peaceful and private home had turned into a constant media and fan zone. She recalled that the family had never been used to the limelight and that Ahaan’s father was the one who liked to stay completely away from it. They were totally unprepared for the sudden influx of photographers and strangers outside their home.
While the family might have been enjoying most of the fan letters, they had to face some difficult ones as well. One particular event that upset them the most was when the family’s mailbox got a letter written in blood. Deanne said it was very disturbing. The family responded to the letter, telling the writer that they should never hurt themselves again. She emphasized that Ahaan would be the last person to want such a thing to happen, and doing so is not a nice thing at all.

Before Saiyaara, the Panday family generally got only the usual mail. Presently, practically every letter professes to be from a fan of Ahaan who loves him the most. While they are still getting used to this situation, the family is figuring out how to thank the people and at the same time, set the required limits.
The increased publicity was accompanied by a large number of fan messages. Deanne shared that they now get thousands of letters every month. These are very different kinds of letters; they could be a simple note, a drawing, or a video. And they could be from anywhere in the world. One of the letters is from a parent who is sending a video of his/her child dancing to a Saiyaara song. She also said that the fans are of every age. From small kids to old people, some fans write about how the movie or Ahaan’s acting made them feel understood or inspired.
Deanne informed that while the love from the fans is great, it can also be quite heavy. Watching her son’s work being appreciated by so many people makes her very happy, but at the same time, it also makes her feel a little bit sad because her personal space is invaded very deeply.
On the professional side, Ahaan Panday will be the next lead in an untitled action, romance film directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and produced by Yash Raj Films.
