At 57, Akshay Kumar continues to be one of Bollywood’s fittest stars, often inspiring fans to adopt a healthier lifestyle. Known as “Khiladi Kumar,” the actor has always emphasized discipline, balance, and wellness as the foundation of his life. Recently, he once again shared insights into his routine, giving fans a reminder of what helps him look so youthful even today.

The actor, currently busy with promotions for his upcoming film Jolly LLB 3, attended an event titled Your Body Already Knows, where he spoke about his health practices. During the discussion, Akshay revealed, “I fast on Mondays, like a full-day fast. Sunday is the last meal, and then after that, Monday is a full-day fast till Tuesday morning.”

Explaining his approach, Akshay added, “When we wake up and immediately eat breakfast, the stomach starts working again without rest. But when you give your stomach a break, it relaxes and functions better. Keeping the stomach healthy is important because most diseases begin from there.”

He also emphasized the importance of early dinners, saying, “I think that among all the body parts, maximum attention should be given to the stomach. If you keep it healthy, diseases will not come near you. Eating by 6:30 in the evening is important so that your food digests properly before you sleep around 9–10 pm. By then, the stomach is ready to rest. It’s a very simple thing.”

On the professional front, Akshay has an eventful year ahead. He recently began shooting Haiwaan with director Priyadarshan, co-starring Saif Ali Khan. Alongside this, he is promoting Jolly LLB 3, which is set to release on September 19, 2025. Adding to the excitement, he has reunited with Priyadarshan once again for Bhoot Bangla, slated for release on April 2, 2026.
