
India’s medal drought finally ended last night with wrestler Sakshi Malik’s win against Kyrgyzstan’s Aisuluu Tynybekova in Women’s freesyle 58Kg wrestling. Sakshi was earlier down to 5-0 but she then defeated her opponent with a resounding 8-5 score and won a Bronze. Sakshi is also the first female wrestler from India to win a medal at the Olympics and the country is so proud!
