“We create clothes we love. We believe in them and their potential to change people’s lives”, this is how Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna describe their contemporary label. The designer duo is known for their modern silhouettes, experimenting with shapes in a linear form and attention to detail. Launched in the year 1997, the label has achieved significant recognition amongst the new generation with almost two decades of experience.
Highly influenced by modern contemporary art, their designs are shaped with the help of linear structures and geometric lines. The clean silhouettes have become a signature style of their label. Their collection is available nationwide in multi-designer stores and boutiques, and they even have three of their standalone stores.
15th October: FDCI added grandeur to the grand finale when they decided to showcase six notable designers on one stage. The label Rohit Gandhi + Rahul Khanna was part of the finale brigade, taking centre stage along with designers like Ashish N Soni, Krishna Mehta, Pankaj & Nidhi, Rina Dhaka and Suneet Varma. The new concept of ‘See Now Buy Now’ was introduced first time with the help of these designers to celebrate the 30th edition of FDCI’s India Fashion Week. The finale designers presented their prêt-à-porter collections that could be bought on Amazon.in immediately after the show.
Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna presented six stellar designs for this grand finale show. The handcrafted ensembles had modern grungy silhouettes and a lot of layers. From a panelled jacket to an LBD to a sharp cape blazer, this small display had a variety of silhouettes. The colour scale was monochrome with a dash of blue. The edgy details of the outfits made it a cohesive collection to represent.
The capsule showcase proved it again that the label Rohit Gandhi + Rahul Khanna is not only in for a long haul, but it is going to do that with some futuristic vision!
