Dhanshree on Emotional Turmoil
In a conversation with Humans of Bombay, Dhanshree opened up about the overwhelming emotions she felt in court.“I still remember when I was standing there and the verdict was about to be given. Even though we were so well-prepared mentally, I got so emotional. I started howling in front of everybody,” she recalled. “I couldn’t even express what I was feeling at that point. I just remember that I kept crying; I was just howling and crying. Of course, all of that happened, and he (Chahal) walked out first.”
Reacting to Chahal’s Viral T-Shirt
Addressing the viral moment from the courtroom, Dhanshree admitted she was caught off guard.“You know that people are going to blame you. Before I had even known that this T-shirt stunt had happened, we were all aware that people were going to blame me for this,” she said. Adding with a hint of frustration, “Are bhai, WhatsApp kar deta. T-shirt kyu pehna hai? (You could have sent it on WhatsApp. Why wear the T-shirt?)”
Chahal on Mental Health and Cheating Allegations
Weeks before Dhanshree’s remarks, Chahal spoke about his struggles during the turbulent phase. Appearing on Raj Shamani’s podcast, he revealed how he and Dhanshree had agreed not to reveal their marital issues until they had reached “a point of no return.”
He also addressed the cheating allegations, saying, “I think when my divorce happened, people accused me of being a cheater. I have never cheated in my life. I am not that kind of a person. You won’t find anyone more loyal than me. I think from my heart for my close ones, always. I do not demand; I always give.”
Speculation is now rife that Chahal may be dating RJ Mahvash, though neither has confirmed nor denied the rumors. Meanwhile, Dhanshree continues to share glimpses of her life as a choreographer and creator, focusing on her work while navigating this new chapter.
