Aamir Khan, who has been in the spotlight recently for the YouTube release of his latest film, Sitaare Zameen Par, is now facing headlines for an entirely different reason. His brother, Faissal Khan, has made a series of shocking allegations against him and the family.
Faissal Khan Alleges Aamir Khan Fathered Child with Jessica Hines
The controversy erupted a day after Faissal announced on social media that he had severed all ties with Aamir and the rest of the family. Soon after, he held a press conference where he leveled serious accusations, including claims of being confined and forced into marriage, and even alleged that Aamir fathered a child out of wedlock.
Speaking to the media, Faissal said, “My family was pressuring me to get married. I was so angry, I wrote a letter stating what my family had done. Aamir married Reena and later divorced her. Then he had a relationship with Jessica Hines—unka illegal baccha tha, out of wedlock. He was living with Kiran at that time.”
Faissal Khan Claims He Was Forced into Marriage and Institutionalized
Faissal further revealed details about his personal life: “In 2002, I got married. But in the same year, I went through a divorce. There was pressure from the family to marry again. I was feeling tortured by this. So, I wrote a letter to all members of the family about what I was going through and gave examples of bad marriages in the family.”
According to him, that letter was misinterpreted, and the family declared him mentally unstable. “I was taken to a mental hospital, admitted, and administered drugs. The family doesn’t talk to me. I feel Aamir was brainwashed, and he did all this to me under the influence of my mom, Nikhat, Santosh Hegde, and Imtiyaz,” he alleged.
Earlier Statements and Family Response
This isn’t the first time Faissal has spoken about his struggles. In an earlier interview with Pinkvilla, he had alleged that his family branded him schizophrenic and a danger to society. “Ye sab baatein ho rahi thi… main iss chakravyuh se kaise niklu. Chakravyuh ho gaya tha mere liye,” he had said.
Following the backlash, Aamir Khan and his family issued a statement defending their actions. An excerpt read: “Every choice regarding Faissal has been taken collectively as a family, in consultation with multiple medical professionals, and has been based on love, compassion, and a desire to support his emotional and psychological well-being.”
A Renewed Public Break
Days after the statement, Faissal reiterated his decision to part ways with his family. In a social media post, he wrote, “With a heavy heart yet renewed courage, I wish to share that I have severed all family ties, as declared through a public notice. This step, though difficult, is essential for my healing and growth. Life now enters a new chapter of freedom, dignity, and self-discovery—one that I embrace with positivity, truth, and strength.”
A day later, he held the press conference where he made fresh allegations. As of now, Aamir Khan and his family have not responded to these latest claims.
