There’s a mad bunch of newly crowned “heavenly bodies” that just joined the prestigious lineup for Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2016. VS hand picked some 18 super fresh and freakishly fit girls of the world who are all set to stomp down the long ramp to lingerie heaven.

Introducing your newest Angels:

#1. Bella Hadid

Her elder sister, Gigi Hadid, already got her pair of VS wings as of last year and while we think its only obvious that she’d get her own to rock this year, the road hasn’t been all that smooth for this leggy beauty. Over the past year she’s been working out hard and follows a strict diet to get that toned bod. She’s walked for all the top names in fashion at all your major international fashion events, has graced a tonne of editorial features in the top glossies and was named the new ambassador of Dior Makeup. You go girl!

This 20-year-old American beauty made history as the Victoria’s Secrets first-ever African-American spokesmodel for its trendy PINK collection. With shoots for Teen Vogue, Interview, and Cosmopolitan under her belt, she’s an advocate for natural hair, both on and off the runway is a true role model for all women of ALL colour.

Xiao is the first woman of Chinese decent to be the face of American fashion label Marc Jacobs, a pretty big title in itself. After making her debut in 2010, she’s walked for Calvin Klein Jeans, DKNY, Emanuel Ungaro, Hermès, Louis Vuitton, Prada, Rochas and Thierry Mugler among others and has featured in ad campaigns for Adidas, Dior, Kenzo. We can’t wait for her to debut on the VS runway!

This sporty Hawaiian beauty, famous for her blond hair and her all-American surfer girl looks made her debut walking for Rag & Bone, and followed that stint up by walking for some of the world’s biggest fashion brands Prada, Louis Vuitton, Miu Miu, Hermes and Celine and was also the face of Gucci Eyewear back in 2010.

This Russian 2011 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue cover girl first made it big back in 2007 as the face of lingerie brand, Intimissimi and has been consistently walking runways for Miu Miu, Bottega Veneta, Marc Jacobs, Moschino, Versace, Givenchy, Diane Von Furstenberg, Giles Deacon, Philipp Plein, and Mango since then.

#6. Megan Williams

This 22-year-old English super model is the current face of Guess, has walked the runway for Ralph Lauren and is a regular feature in high fashion editorial spreads in the worlds top magazines.

#7. Dilone

Few are cool enough to be called by one name and one name only, 21-year-old Dilone, of Dominican heritage from New Jersey (USA) and has graced magazine covers, featured in ad campaigns for Coach, Balmain and Versace and walked runways for Marc Jacobs, Stella McCartney. We love her refreshing tom-boy look and can hardly wait till she rocks our socks off at this December show.

If there ever was a cultural potpurri this one would be our favourite! Luma is of Black-Brazilian, German-Brazilian, and Japanese-Brazilian decent and appears in ad campaigns for L’Oréal, Paco Rabanne. She has walked for Vivienne Westwood, Burberry, Versace and Etam and is going to be a sure shot fire starter on the VS runway.

#9. Maggie Laine

This beach bum has a face that looks like a cross between Kate Moss and Karlie Kloss! We love that not much is known about Maggie except that she loves Chanel and in an interview with Vogue Italy back in 2014, she mentioned that making it to the VS lineup was one of her dream goals. And here she is now! How very cool.

Born and brought up in Maryland (USA), Lameka used to help her dad train and jog horses till she got spotted by international talent management company IMG, through a hashtag (read about it here)! And yes… we love it.

This monster of a production is all set to take place in Paris and will be aired on American TV channel CBS on December 5th. We’re definitely going to update you when we hear about its India telecast cos this is one show we’re not going to miss. Plus being able to sit at home in your jammies with a cuppa makes this one event we cannot, should not miss.
