Congratulations Tim Philips from Hemmesphere, Sydney who is now officially the
world’s best bartender! Yup the finals were held at castle in Rio no less! I’ve
been obsessively watching Game of Thrones so was particularly pleased about this
:) anyway I will now let the pictures (and video) do the talking, since they
always seem to tell it best!

rum I have ever tasted (and happily drunk on the rocks) the venue was simply
mind blowing. Casa Das Canoas is a magnificent (and utterly tastefully done)

Christina Hendricks (aka Joan from Mad Men) is Johnnie Walker Blue Label’s first
Game Changer and was their spokesperson over in Rio during World Class, which is 
why I got to meet her! In fact I got the whole interview on tape and have

Last night on our Diageo Reserve World Class Bar Safari our guide took us past
the bar where the Girl from Ipanema song was written, and yes it’s about a real
girl! She’s about 60 years old now and still runs a bikini shop near the bar…
and then he sang the song for us :) how can you not love that?! PS. Would you
believe she has an even hotter daughter now? Boys, yo
