The bloody cool re[v]olution!
So here is the major new excitement in my life! I am joining Channel [v], more specifically www.channelv.in (nobody panic I’m keeping my radio show) and will be blogging up a storm as missmalini on their spanking new website pretty soon. As you can see [v] is getting a re[v]amp and it’s going to be pretty bloody cool! So look out for missmalini posts on [v], starting asap (hey that rhymes.) Totally jazzed about this by the way :), now my LPC gets to see a LOT of behind the scenes action with your favorite VJs and all their new reality shows. Woohoo! Wanna see a bloody cool promo?

Congrats Mals on ur new role with V. Really happy for you! :)
Now on the new campaign. Dont u think usage of a traditional “swear” word – namely “Bloody”. With repetitive usage of this word, the channel loses the respect it had in my eyes at least.
I understand the channel wants to be seen as funky, cool, with it and maybe even irreverant.. but at the cost of losing some older (and perhaps more orthodox) viewers??
Ur thoughts?

To answer your question Anjaan I think its alright, I don’t think people consider “bloody” much of a swear word anymore (even in its heyday it was a pretty tame one.) As you know its a whole new world and generation neXt is taking over the world one page view at a time… also once you see the new shows you’ll be pretty addicted, respect or no respect ;)
