Sneak Preview: Mumbai gets a breath of Fresh Aer!

The good people over at the Four Seasons gave me a chance to take a sneak peek (as you may have noticed on Twitter) at whats in store before they open their doors to the glitterati on Saturday night (for the official launch) and then to the public the following week. All I can say is WOW. I was (almost quiet literally) blown away by the newest addition to Mumbai’s glittering nightlife at the Four Seasons, Mumbai. Aer is a mind-blowing open-air classic-contemporary Bar & Lounge 34 floors above the bustling streets of Worli and my apologies to The Dome (at the Intercontinental Marine Drive) but who’s your daddy?!

For a city like Mumbai where taking a deep breath is often a challenge Aer is exactly what you need (and get). DJ Shaan will be spinning a mix of lounge and world music most nights, you can order champagne by the glass during champagne hours (even Dom Pérignon if you’re feeling fancy!), snack on a selection of Lebanese tapas (give me some hummus and a glass of bubbly and I’m a happy girl) and admire Mumbai city like you’ve never quite seen her before (not to mention the epic sunset/moon rise). I like the artistic touches too (Go Elsie!), the decor is minimalist but classy, the lighting compliments the panoramic (and totally breath-taking) view of the city and the service has character. Don’t miss the chance to have a chat with the star of my video aka their charming F&B Manager J.J. (I’ll let him tell you what that’s short for but suffice to say he’s the only one at the Four Seasons allowed to have initials on his name tag.) I even tried out the little black lounge chairs (for the single mingler) super comfy and can you believe they keep 30 shawls handy just in case you get the chills? Now that’s what I call service.
All in all, I highly recommend a visit the next time you’re in “town” (and that applies to the suburban Mumbaikars too). Plus gentlemen trust me on this one, if you’re looking to romance the pants of your girl; bring her to Aer, order champagne and thank me later :)

[...] I’ve already told you how much I like this place and apart from a slightly frazzled feline handling the list at the door (she must be new) the wonderful thing about the Four Seasons is that they’ve got customer service down to an art form (maybe we can send Ms. Badlani over for a crash course?) 34 floors above the closest thing we get to “winter” in Mumbai was quite a treat paired up with Aer’s panoramic view. The highlight of my night though was the music. OMG, I mean I’ve known Shaan Bhavnani for almost a decade (after meeting him at Ghetto over a game of pool) and he is quite possibly the cities best kept secret when it comes to groovy lounge that stays at the sweet spot for hours on end. Impressive. [...]

Being 34 floors above the closest thing we get to “winter” in Mumbai was quite a treat paired up with Aer’s panoramic view of the city and the sea. The highlight of my night though was the music. OMG, I mean I’ve known Shaan Bhavnani for almost a decade (after meeting him at Ghetto over a game of pool) but he is quite possibly the city’s best kept secret when it comes to a groovy lounge DJ that can hit (and stay at) that sweet spot for hours on end. Impressive! Overall I’m 100% in agreement with the manager Shaijo Rajan, “With the launch of Aer, Mumbai has got itself a new place to get away from the madding crowds.” (…and that too in celebrity style.) [...]

I really don’t agree with this particular blog post. However, I had looked in Google and I have found out that you’re correct and I had been thinking in the improper way. Continue writing top quality material like this.
