Photo Journey: How to Rock the Sula Fest in 2011 (MissMalini’s way)

I was gonna wait till tomorrow to post this but I can’t. Simply because the trip is so vivid in my memory and I want to share before I forget something. Also I’ve decided to let the pictures do the talking (like my Goa photo-journey inspired blog); but suffice to say the Sula Festival in Nasik (which I last went to in 2008) is bigger and better than ever before. I cannot urge you enough to make sure you come next time if you missed it (because if you were there you know what I mean!) Super food, happy people, live music under the open sky and just a whole lot of love, wine-induced or otherwise :) I’ve returned from a little piece of paradise wishing I could do it all over again tomorrow (and once you see my pictures I bet you will too!)

So waddya say? Shall we consider it a done deal for next year? Its just so breath-taking even my pictures don’t do justice… Imagine 1500 people watching groovy tunes at an incredibly well-manicured amphitheater at a massive vineyard overlooking the ghats, while the sun sets. *sigh* I love living in India all over again :) What’s the verdict on Sula Fest 2010?
Great food, hot music, cold drinks. Enough said.

Hi Preethi! So its pretty easy they usually sell the tickets across various outlets and there are numbers to call as well the sula website sulawines.com has all the details up in advance! And thanks! The sun-dress is off the streets from my Koi Samui trip! http://www.missmalini.com/2009/08/29/koh-samui-island-paradise-day-1/
P.S. Lucky you on the going to school with Aazin!

Great photolog! Now I feel terrible that I missed it this year. :( Next year then… :)
Y’know, I’m planning on going to the Hanging Gardens gigs this Sat eve (there are regular gigs at the park every Sat for about 2 months). STR is playing this week and I was thinking: Picnic. Going with my girls now, but we could all go; might be fun.
