Sushmita Sen: Babies, Boys and Ricky Martin!

Alisah and Sushmita Sen

Sushmita and Renee Sen
Props to Madame Sushmita Sen for adopting baby # 2. She took Alisah Sen out for her first paparazzi spin, at the crowning of the winners of the I Am Princess 2010 (a platform for girls under 18 girls). Alisah in Greek means “joyful”, yup looks about right! You know I’ve always wanted to adopt and I’m so impressed she’s just gone ahead and done it, twice! #WIN former Miss Universe, you rock my world :)

Sushmita Sen, Ricky Martin and Wasim Akram
Psst! Apparently she also knew Ricky Martin was gay! Sush said, “All the time I have known him, I’ve been so proud of him. It takes tremendous courage to accept your own DNA. I knew he was gay. More power to him. It is a fantastic feeling to be able to love who you want to and that’s a choice no one can make for you.” Also some time ago, there was a rumor that Sen had filed an application in court to marry former Pakistani cricketer Wasim Akram. She rubbished the rumours, saying, “I have two babies and the third is my latest business venture [that will see her hold a beauty pageant to groom Indian girls and send the best to the Miss Universe contest]. Do you think I have the time to marry anyone?”
Lady’s got a point yo.

She’s fantastic. Brains, empowerment, and great looks too! Also, Alisah is a Hebrew name…maybe Greek too, but I know a few Israeli girls named Alisa/Aliza. Yes, I’m a tremendous nerd about that…

Props to Sush for adopting, but err, “joy” in Greek is Xara, so “joyful” is xaroumenos if you are male and xaroumeni if female. Where did Alisah come from?

Kaviani, in fact, this seems to indicate that you are spot on and that the name is actually Hebrew in origin.

It is also possible for family members of people suffering from diseases caused by exposure to the material to sue the responsible parties, if the victim itself is unable to for some reason.

Ok Mick we’ll leave it at that but in your last paragraph“ What I object to is the assumption of many not all, of course, but many Newcastle fans that theirs is a special devotion. That preposterously pompous self-image insults the passionate supporters of other clubs†That is yet another myth peddled by the press.

I completely accept as true with everything you have stated. In reality, I browsed through your various other posts and I believe that you’re totally correct. Great job with this site.

Simply passing some time in between class on Digg and I found your article. Not normally what I favor to read about, but it surely was absolutely worth my time. Thanks.
