Is this cute or what?! Imran Khan and Avantika Malik are tinsel-town’s newest newly-weds :) Even mega workaholic Aamir Khan canceled all his appointments to attend and tomorrow night, the two families (and their closest friends) are heading to Phuket for a three-day celebration. Sadly, Uncle Aamir and Kiran Rao have to give that bit a miss so they can wrap up work on “Dhobi Ghat”which releases January 21st. They had quite the party, mehendi and and sangeet at the Maliks’ farmhouse on Saturday, the registration of Imran and Avantika’s wedding at the Khan residence — 24, Pali Hill today and dinner tonight at the Taj Land’s End. The wedding party heading to Thailand includes 50 peeps including, Mansoor Khan & fam, Aamir’s sisters Nikhat and Farhat with their kids and Aamir’s mother Zeenat Hussain. Big fat wedding reception happening on February 5.
Heads up South Asian celebrity spotters! They’re booked into the Marriott’s Khao Lak island resort, about an hour away from Phuket. Pretty isn’t it?
