Zokkomon, a Walt Disney Motion Pictures presentation promises to be an action packed adventure of an ordinary boy. The boy who rises from despair to solitude to victory will be played by none other than Aamir Khan‘s favourite boy Darsheel Safary.
The cast and crew seem to have graduated from Aamir Khan‘s school of film-making. Although it is director Satyajit Bhatkal’s debut, he was part of the production team of Lagaan and more importantly, the author of Spirit of Lagaan. The film also stars Manjiri Phadnis of Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na fame (another Aamir Khan production).
Anupam Kher will play a pivotal role in Zokkomon. The famous trio Shankar, Ehsaan, Loy have composed music for the film bringing life to Javed Akhtar’s lyrics. Shiamak Davar and Raju Sundaram have choreographed the dances.
Zokkomon will take you through Kunal’s (Darsheel Safary) adventures to discover the hero within. It hits theatres near you on 22nd April 2011. Interested in watching?
