I got to witness something mad cool in Delhi last week, Chivas Studio’s Fashion Broadway. Oddly enough India’s first on-stage musical… and it was brilliant! Titled All That Jazz & Love, Rohan Sippy conceived and directed a story of love set against the backdrop of 1960’s Mumbai and the star cast Shahana Goswami, Ali Fazal, Hazel Keech and Rahul Dev played it to perfection along with the UK’s Twilight Players (who you’ve seen before in Dev D.) Most impressive of course was hearing all their untrained but still awesome voices signing live to the tunes of Ranjit Barot. I managed to catch a few post-show adrenaline filled moments with them on video for you too, check it out!
