The Dior couture show will be held in Paris later tonight for the Spring / Summer 2012 season. The House of Dior has just released a few sketches of the outfits you will seen on the ramp.
The streamlined silhouettes are very reminiscent of the 1940’s and 1950’s with hemlines skirting the knees and a range of romantic ball gowns with voluminous trains.
Even though the House of Dior has not yet appointed a Creative Director, we like the direction this line is taking. I’m all for vintage styles being reinvented with a modern twist.
