Well, there you go, Priyanka fans. After all the rumors doing the rounds, PC has finally signed on to play the lead role in the modern remake of Zanjeer. And we hear her paycheck is equal to that of the male’s lead, Ramcharan Teja!
Apparently, her role is going to be quite different from Jaya Bachchan‘s in the original. PC will play a US-returned cafe owner. That involves glamorous, modern clothing, but will be sans item numbers. She is signed on for both the Hindi and Telugu versions of the film. Since she did the new Agneepath version as well, guess this one can add another remake feather to her cap!
