Bollywood is famous for being full of clichés, but ironically enough, it is these very clichés that make this genre so unique – and enjoyable. And if this dance sequence occurs on foreign grounds (let’s be real, it usually does), then you must not be surprised when even the goras break out into dance.
But of course. They are magical. See:
They will solve anything, these songs. Want to tell a girl you love her, sing a song. Want to tell the villain you’re onto him, sing a song. Want to distract the cop while your cohorts execute a major robbery… you sing a song!

Ramu kaka, paani lao!

Or if you make her laugh. Hasi toh phasi.
Fact: food poisoning does not exist in Bollywood movies.
Don’t you mean Amreeka?
But, ek ladka aur ek ladki kabhi dost nahin ho sakte.
…kya is din dekhne ke liye tumko paida kiya?!
Of course. You are, after all, the hero. You can do no wrong!
Not always. Sometimes the low class boy dies… but it’s okay, because then the high class girl gets to marry a guy who somehow magically looks exactly like the low class boy. #KahoNaPyaarHai
But you know what? The best part about Bollywood will probably always be this:
Picture abhi baaki hai, mere dost. 🙂
