The sultry and curvaceous Pooja Bedi celebrates her birthday in Los Angeles today and says, “Emotionally I’m Sixteen; Mentally I’m Sixty; Spiritually I’m thousands of years old and …physically? Hmmm! does it matter?”
Having been brought up by bohemian parents Kabir Bedi and the late Protima Gauri, Pooja has always lived life on her own terms. In fact, within the industry, people refer to her as Bindaas Bedi. Of course, the fact that she shed her clothes (and her inhibitions) for India’s first lifestyle advertisement for a condom, KamaSutra, has a lot to do with the reputation.
Describing herself as a, “Child of the universe, an adventurer, a mother, a humanitarian,” we might also add that she’s been a successful talk-show host and model as well.
