Being the mother of a two year old, I can totally relate to Abhishek Bachchan‘s baby woes. The first year is always really challenging because it involves endless sleepless nights and a really selfish baby demanding feeds at inane hours. Abhishek’s daughter who just turned six months old on May 16 already knows how to show him who’s boss.
She and mommy, Aishwrya Rai Bachchan have taken over the bedroom and AB Junior has no choice but to sleep in another room till the baby’s slightly older. According to the TOI, Abhishek confessed that he wakes up several times in the night because of Aaradhya’s feeding and nappy change routine and he always finds it really hard to get himself to sleep again. Aishwarya believes that this could be really tough on her poor husband who can’t show up yawning and grumpy for a shoot the next day. So, they figured they’d have to move him out of there.
Also, Abhishek joked that he’s totally jealous because Ash is constantly showering the baby with love and attention. I love how he mentioned that she does everything from the baby’s maalish, her bathing and her other little chores by herself. Now, I know how tough that can be and I have to say Ash has me totally impressed and inspired.
Abhishek’s also gushing about how he now gets to carry his little angel around all the time (he wasn’t allowed to do much when she was younger) and she’s finally at the perfect age for playing with daddy as well. Boy, now if we could just get a little picture of her, we’d be over the moon, eh?
