Well, what a variety of films he’s doing. On one hand, Emraan Hashmi has signed his first U-rated film, and on the other hand… he’s been watching a lot of porn to prepare for another – Shanghai!
In the film, Emraan plays a small-time journalist who shoots porn films to earn a living. Apparently, Dibakar Bannerjee told Emraan that whatever he’s been doing in front of the camera, he now needs to learn how to shoot behind the camera! So when Emraan was asked what sort of preparation he did to get into character, he just said, “I watched a lot of porn.”
Well – kudos to Emraan for working very hard to get into his character. *grin*
