In the by-lanes of Colaba, Minoti Sampat has opened her second store of cult designer wear for children and would-be-mothers, called MAL.

With an eye for appreciating fashion as an art, the boutique is designed to allow people to relax, pause and appreciate. There is little to suggest that it is a retail store, it could be the boudoir of a little maharaja or choti maharani quite comfortable straddling the past and present. Vintage drying hangers, wooden chests, brass tea sets are befitting display stands for the clothes. The wooden flooring and antique cabinets and shoe racks gives a cute and charming look to the split level store.
