In a recent interview, Priyanka Chopra spoke about her personal life being under the microscope, and how much she hates it. According to her, she doesn’t think she should open up, and will only come out and say something if there’s an announcement worth making. Here’s what she told the TOI:

“I don’t think it’s right to put myself out there, especially as a girl. Maybe if I were a man, I would have been a philandering Casanova. As a girl, I am this stupid, emotional, very loyal, sort of believe-in-values-and-principals sort of girl. It’s very irritating. And I’m a Cancerian. We’re kind of like that.”

She further goes on to say that it’s unfair for people to decide what’s good or bad for her, or who she should be dating. Her logic remains that since she doesn’t invade anyone’s privacy and ask them what they’re upto, no one should do the same to her. What do you think – is she right in expecting this privacy, or should celebrities assume that every bit of their life is up for public consumption?
