The Hips Don’t Lie singer Shakira is pregnant with her first child with Barcelona F.C footballer Gerard Piqué.

The couple first met at the 2010 World Cup when Piqué appeared in the video of her hit song Waka Waka. They started dating soon after despite a 10 year age gap between them. Shakira announced the happy new on her website saying:

“As some of you may know, Gerard and I are very happy awaiting the arrival of our first baby! At this time we have decided to give priority to this unique moment in our lives and postpone all the promotional activities planned over the next few days.”

Gerard took to twitter to retweet her announcement and also changed his display picture to a pacifier.  Aww! Isn’t that adorable?
