A creation of the British designer Debbie Wingham, it was launched officially at the Billionaire’s Club in Monte Carlo in June before going on a tour that ended at Ukraine Fashion Week on the 14th of September. And guess what? It’ll be coming to Mumbai early next year, apparently. So yeah, wanna know all the deets of this pricey frock?
Okay, take a deep breath. The dress comes with 50 two carat black diamonds: 25 adorn the peplum and 25 the detachable shoulder shrug. There are more embellishments of fine beading and delicate pointer white diamonds set in white gold with a very fine chain mail detail. It took Debbie six months to handcraft the dress, and weighs a whooping 13 kgs!
