So the invite for Imran Khan‘s house warming party said “causal evening attire” but Sonam Kapoor and Karan Johar decked out anyway, soliciting a few catty remarks at the party to the effect of, “uff, why does she have to dress up like she’s attending fashion week?!” *lol* Kjo wasn’t spared either, especially since he wore a studded suit, leaving most everyone mystified about the style statement he was trying to make.
PS. Kjo and Kareena Kapoor also maintained their distance with each other, I wonder what that’s about… bad vibes Bebo?
Priyanka Chopra faced some flack too apparently for her confused LA accent. (On that though I have to say I sympathise, people give me a hard time about my accent all the time!) And the b*tchy brigade walked away when she mentioned her World Music Awards nomination. Oh well…
And even though the photogs didn’t spot her Katrina Kaif was very much in attendance and even overheard saying Ek Tha Tiger will emerge a bigger hit than Dabangg 2. Ballsy, especially since she seemed blissfully unaware that D2 has had a bigger opening weekend than ETT ever did. Besides, why scratch the had that feeds you Kat? Bad form.
Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan looked like they came straight off the sets of Student of the Year and Siddharth Malhotra stayed right by BF(F) KJo’s side all night long.
Anushka Sharma meanwhile, got lots of compliments for her fresh-faced simple look! Finally someone who’s managed to stay above the fray! Or perhaps she isn’t considered a threat yet by the older lot? Hmm.
