Word has it that Varun has been brought on board to play the lead in an upcoming Ekta Kapoor flick, which will be a romantic comedy. There are also whispers that his dad, David Dhawan, will be directing the film – in which case you can already begin to imagine which brand of comedy this will be! We hear he’ll be playing a nerd (complete with glasses), which should be quite the departure from the ‘hot boy’ image he had in Student of the Year. I think Varun can totally pull off nerdy hot, so I’m definitely waiting for this. What about you?
