Mandola (Pankaj Kapoor) took Matru (Imran Khan) for a walk, that’s what he told Matru. The walk was actually a ride in air and he asked him to marry his daughter. He refused and he threatened him by his crazy riding skills and then Matru got scared of death and agreed.
Saw first day, first show! After all how can I miss to watch this crazy movie. Btw loved Mandola and his craziness.

Btw loved entire cast, Imran really worked hard with his accent and body language and Anushka as always was a treat to watch. And Mr. Mandola, Sir I was a huge fan but now I think I am a die-hard fan of your acting skills.

Mandola takes matru on a plane ride, and asks him to marry his daughter Bijli, when MAtru refused, Mandola threatned his saying he will throw him off the plane, so therefore matru agreed fearing his life was in danger..

Damn! No chances of winning anything! So many people have already seen the movie, whereas me will get to see it this coming week in BKK! Anyways from the vdo Imran did say that Pankaj kapur tricked him and took him on a private plane and told him to marry the daughter. I assumed if he didnt agree he would throw him off the plane! lol.. Would love to win the photograph with is signature! :P (DELHI)

Mandola dares Matru to kiss Gulabo, the pink cow if he wants to marry his daughter. That’s why we see the cow with a smirk and smiling in the promos.

Basically, Mandola tells Matru that he’ll take him for a walk, instead, takes him on a plane ride. He threatens to throw him off unless he marries Bijlee and Matru gets scared and agrees.
The movie was great, I loved it! Imran’s looking amazing, as usual!

Haven’t seen the movie yet, but in the trailer Imran already says “Thari beti, thari bhes, thari ghadi, thari chaadi.. Pant, juti, kameez, ghadi, chadi.. kisi se bhi shaadi karne ko tayar hu” So assuming Mandola asked Matru to marry Bijlee and at first Matru said no! Mr Kapoor shakes the plane and shows his talent of ‘flying’ the plane as well..!! And thus Matru says that dialogue..!!
But since i have not seen the movie yet, i would say kyuki Anushka ne apni last film mai bola tha ki “duniya ki har koi country dekhna hai.. Alag alag accent ke bando ke saath sex karna hai” Imran is sporting a different accent in this movie.. So i would say Anushka, being the bubbly and mophat that she is didnt need the convincing from her father to get Imran to marry her. She did it all on her own with her wit and charm.. Pankaj Kapoor might have just given Imran the final push that he needed to make up his mind about marrying her..!!!

A very drunk ( as usual ! ) and very high ( literally ! ) Mandola takes Matru on a walk.. the walk turns out to be among the clouds.. and on the air plane, threatens to dhakelofy Imran down if he doesnt agree to marry Bijlee… thats how the crazy Mandola gets Matru to marry Bijlee…
In my imagination, the pink cow below somewhere bellows in agreement :P
The jhola bag is really cute… hope to sport it to colg, supermarket for fun and crazy outings :)

Since I have yet to watch the movie but have seen the promos, let my imagination spin this one out. So Mandola (Pankaj Kapoor) takes Matru (Imran) to a desert and points out what will happen if he doesn’t marry Bijli (Anushka Sharma. Thanks to the the help of the backdrop, Matru immediately agrees!!!

What a fantastic movie of Vishal Bhardwaj , Superb Songs and greatest comedy ever and yuppps what a beautiful Bijlee Looks… just Wooooowww Miss Malini. She really looks like Bijlee Tadaka Bhadaka and Bindasss.!!!!!!

Answer to the question:
Mandola convinces Matru to marry his daughter Bijlee by giving up drinking. At first Matru doesn’t believe him because Matru thought he was drunk when he asked that but Mandola said he is not drunk, hence Matru says yes to the proposal! :)
