We don’t need a day to celebrate love, because love has to be celebrated every single moment! But we surely need a day to express our love. In this photo blog I have tried to capture the essence of the Valentine’s Day celebration in Mumbai.
The flower of love : red roses

Roses are the flower of Love. And what better way to express your love than a heart shaped bouquet of red roses?

…and we have options to chose from.

Heart-shaped red balloons.

Two-in-one : Flowers plus balloon = happy girlfriend / boyfriend! I love this bouquet, isn’t it just adorable?

See, even the heart-shaped balloons don’t want to stay away from each other on Valentine’s Day!

An entrance to a shop with red heart shaped balloons make up the gate.
Love notes.

I found this on the glass door of a store. Love the idea of leaving love note stickies mentioning who you love!
Soft toys.

A teddy bear with a heart just says it all. Dont you think? 🙂
Couple spotting.

I went to Bandra Bandstand, Carter road and Marine drive and spotted couples coochi cooing on V-Day!

…more couples.

Holding hands and promising of being with each other for infinity and beyond…

Dont miss the rose on the girl’s bag.

And then I spotted a rare pigeon couple trying to find a private place to celebrate Valentine’s day!
The cutest thing ever!

I spotted this kid in the morning at the station and I LOVE the badge he was wearing. The badge had a big heart and inside that, a small heart that said “Mom”, the other saying “Dad” and then on the bottom combining both in a darker heart saying “ILU”, and we all know ‘ILU ka matlab I LOVE YOU!‘
