Wanted: Madhubala for Anurag Basu’s Biopic on Kishore Kumar

According to the filmy grapevine, Anurag Basu is penning a biopic on the legendary Kishore Kumar and has already roped in Ranbir Kapoor to play the role of the iconic singer and actor.

However, rumours have it that Basu has still not zeroed in on to who will play the female lead. Names like Katrina Kaif and Kangana Ranaut are being thrown about but there has been no official confirmation.

Strangely though, just recently we came across this meme on Twitter and if Anurag Basu is reading this post, he might want to consider…

Karishma Kotak DOES NOT look like the inimitable Madhubala. Madhuri Dixit used to look a lot like her, but Kotak is nowhere near that calibre.
Moreover KK is way too hefty and would like an aunty if paired with Ranbir

Only Madhuri Dixit could do justice to the role of Madhubala but at this age even she can’t. At present no actress is even equivalent to her one style. no one even should think to play the role of the venus of silver screen. no one wold be able to do justice to this role

Karishma Kotak looks just like Madhubala!! I’ve noticed this before too! she would be a good choice! Karishma and Ranbir are the same age and would look nice together! KK for KK biopic please!!

It needs to be a REALLY REALLY good actress – so you can take Katrina off that list, she’s not worthy of this performance.

Karishma Kotak does not look like Madhubala – they have totally different noses.

Karishma and Madhubala have different noses but otherwise they look alike! out of all the present actresses Karishma Kotak resembles her most! I think Anurag Basu should definitely consider her! RK and Karishma would make a nice new jodi!

AMRITA RAO has the similar back in the day charm and beauty as that of Madhuri dixit and Madhubala….she’s the only one who comes close to these two actresses..Amrita Rao can act, her expressions are to die for and she’s good at these romantic roles and i’m sure it’ll be refreshing to see her paired opposite Ranbir. As for Karishma Kotak, no she looks nothing like Madhubala…and she’ll be just be like Katrina…expressionless! Anurag Basu, hope you’re reading our comments!!!!

Amrita rao will be the perfect choice comparing the actresses of today… i think she can only do justice to the role of madhubala..
