PC’s main idea with this song was to ensure that it wasn’t vulgar or crass in any way, and therefore she went through multiple tracks before finally deciding on Babli Badmaash. She also wanted to ensure that the song didn’t objectify women, so she sat with Manish Malhotra and Sanjay Gupta to come up with her look for this video. Producer Ekta Kapoor confirms this, saying that she believes the song is both classy and sexy, and should reach a wide audience.
