Ohmigod. I have just about started recovering from last nights shenanigans at the GQ Best Dressed bash at Four Seasons, Mumbai. (Seriously, it’s getting harder.) It’s only Friday night and I feel like I’ve partied all weekend because I had THAT much fun. 1. The Dress. The Bling. The Hair.
Ok so this was more Rocky S, Anmol Jewellers and Smashh the Salon than GQ but I went all out to look the part thanks to this invite so I’ll share the credit 🙂 I LOVED this badass shimmery cutout bodycon dress by Rocky S (from the runway here!) and found some gold accessories at Anmol to bling it on. Pièce de résistance: the hair styled by Sushil Charles from Smashh who always makes me feel so princess-like! I’m so in love with this swirly messy updo. My friend Neera Chanani looked red hot in a gorgeous Shantanu & Nikhil dress. You like?
2. The Pre Game.
This was actually super cool cos at the party I discovered Micromax was one of the sponsors! I have the Canvas 2 – which I HEART so I felt extra #geekchic!
Besides, sometimes it’s nice to meet up with all your friends and have a drink, take pictures and roll together in a BRIGHT GREEN NISSAN. Uh-huh!
3. Those Yummy Drinks.
Sadly they had run out of champagal by the time we hit the bar BUT they made some killer cocktails inspired by the fabulous 50s. Also ex Grey Goose Global Brand Ambassador Dimi Lezinska was at the party and ordered me an epic shot. Now awaiting our next night out to try something he calls “The Flatliner” 🙂
4. Moody Blues.
There’s something wonderful about cool lighting that makes everything look SO expensive and chic! I loved that the entire room was bathed in blue last night. Well played GQ, well played.
5. Beautiful People.
Obviously everyone was decked out to the nines but it makes me especially happy to see some of the most talented, charming (and sometimes goofy!) girls in the biz rocking their glam. Shaair, Re & Anushka, I’m looking at you babe(s).

6. Hello, Rabbit.
The lovely Shaair (aka Monica Dogra) told me as soon as she came in that the band was awesome and called Sky Rabbit so I went up to listen and OMG they were FAB! We even kicked off the dance floor to their boppy tunes. Get me that album stat!
7. Boys, Boys, Boys!
Last night was was their night and boy did the men bring their A-game! Check out Zina’s fashion debrief for all the deets.

Oh Sid Mallya, this is why I love you. Nobody but you and Lord Disick would think to rock a cane to a party!
It’s actually pretty crazy ironic that I JUST happened to catch this episode of Keeping up with the Kardashians where Kourtney Kardashian‘s hubby Scott Disick opts for the very same fashion accessory. Good job, old sport!

9. Tie Spy.
Model Acquin Pais rocked a rose knot on his tie which was super suave in sexy mauve. (Dammit that doesn’t rhyme.) But here’s how it’s done:
10. Kamal Hai!
I have always admired Kamal Sidhu. She’s beautiful, talented and now a proud mommy too! We had a wonderful and totally random little chat about how she feels like life has come such a long way. From the days where you would totally obsess about what to wear to a party to a massive priority change once you have kids. She seemed to at ease and happy and still looked totally beautiful. To the moon girl!
