Abhishek Bachchan Convinces Aishwarya Rai to do an Item Song

So its confirmed! Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is back and will be doing an old school “item song” in Sanjay Leela Bhansali‘s upcoming Ram Leela. It will be an elaborate number and based on Indian classical dance which she is so very good at! (Think something like Madhuri Dixit‘s dance in Devdas.)

But what most people don’t know is that hubby Abhishek Bachchan is the one who convinced her to do it! When the proposal came to her, she wasn’t sure about it at all. But Abhi convinced her that this would be a better faster stronger comeback rather than doing a full length feature. Also her fans have been waiting to see her do a song for so long! You have, right?
