Nikhil Thampi turned to South India for the inspiration behind his Fall/Winter 2013 collection. He incorporated a punk theme into the line using Kathakali faces as motifs. Mustards, dull golds, whites and black were the dominant colours, and the garments featured thigh-high gowns, peek-a-boo details, and interesting draping.
