Deepika Padukone, who reportedly auditioned for a role in Fast & Furious 7, has apparently bagged the film! In Rajeev Masand‘s column earlier this week, he mentioned that even Nirmat Kaur (who will be seen in The Lunchbox) and Isabelle (Katrina Kaif‘s younger sister) had sent in their audition tapes. However, if word is to be believed – and the reports are strong – then DPad is the one who has actually managed to get the role.
According to TOI, the actress will play a “significant” character (although Masand’s column insists it’s a “tiny role”). There’s been no confirmation yet from Deepika or her representatives, but apparently they are in the process of getting the paperwork done with the Hollywood studio. Meanwhile, DPad is in Dubai shooting for Happy New Year alongside Shah Rukh Khan, Abhishek Bachchan and Boman Irani.
