Designers Arjun & Anjalee Kapoor recently launched their festive collection – Jamawar Aria – with Bollywood actress Bipasha Basu as the showstopper.
As the name suggests, the collection boasts of a strong Jamawar influence with an added touch and essence of the Renaissance era, in the form of elaborate Victorian gowns and extravagant Jamawar inspired bridal couture. Resplendent with ruffles and texture, the gowns exemplify a fairy tale like feel while our rich, cultural heritage has been celebrated in the bridal line.
The wedding wear for the groom has a markedly Mughal silhouette in the form of stately floor-length sherwanis.
