B-Town’s favourite comic actor of late, Vir Das, is on the move! The comedian-turned-actor has a very busy schedule ahead. After charming Indian audiences with his seamless performances on screen and on stage, the Delhi Belly actor recently hosted India’s first comedy festival in Mumbai, dubbed the “Wierdass Pyjama Festival.”
Vir has received high appraise for the festival, which jumped to multiple locations throughout the city. Many of his Bollywood buddies accompanied him in tickling the audience’s funny bones, including Ranveer Shorey, Vinay Pathak, Neha Dhupia, Gul Panag, Anupam Kher and Sophie Chaudhary.
Vir will now juggle his busy shooting schedule with one month of international performances of his comedy act. He has three releases slated in 2014, not to mention the promotions. He’s already started promoting his latest, Shaadi Ke Side Effects, with costars Farhan Akhtar and Vidya Balan, due to release on February 28th. After that he’ll be seen with Kangana Ranaut in Revolver Rani, along with Khanna Patel, Rishi Kapoor and Paresh Rawal. Vir rounds out the year with another film titled “Amit Sahni Ki Shaadi”. Big year ahead for this funny man!
