She’s currently readying up for her next Singh Is Blingg opposite Akshay Kumar and according to reports, she has now bagged a role alongside Shahid Kapoor in Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK’s (the makers of Go Goa Gone and Shor In The City) upcoming film, Farzi. Someone’s going places!
However, on the other hand, there are talks doing the rounds that the actress has managed to irk several filmmakers. Reveals a source, “While there was news that Kriti replaced a Kareena Kapoor Khan in Singh is Blingg, truth be told, the actress got the film only when it was rejected by several other actresses. It was also reported that Kriti bagged a lucrative deal by a hair oil brand which was endorsed by Anushka Sharma. This was followed by a rumor that Kriti had replaced Deepika Padukone for a leading soft-drink brand.The recent rumor is that she has replaced Kangana Ranaut in Tanu Weds Manu 2. All these and more have several filmmakers and brands upset as the stories are loosely planted. While everyone is well aware this is a desperate attempt for her to get work as post the success of Heropanti,Tiger Shroff has got more projects while Kriti has only signed two.It is amusing, especially since she is too new an actress to compete with some of Bollywood’s biggest female names“.
