Ask any Bollywood journalist, who has interviewed Salman Khan and they will tell you how his PR always gives a verbal memo to each of them before any interview. A memo that says, “Don’t ask him about his marriage plans”. And that’s because our Sallu bhai is now bored of answering the same question for years and we totally understand that. So it has been a while since the 40-something actor has been tight-lipped about it.
Naturally, it came as a surprise to everyone when he voluntarily initiated the topic of his wedding at the Big Star Entertainment Awards 2014 held in Mumbai recently. It seems the superstar was asked whether he would like to do a film with the other two reigning Khans of Bollywood – Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan. Considering the trio reunited recently when the friend-turned-foes, SRK and Sallu, turned friends again.
They even video chatted with Aamir at midnight. So it obvious that every Bollywood buff is hoping to see the trio on screen together. But from the looks of it, Salman doesn’t seem too kicked about this idea. When quizzed about it, this is what he said:
I would rather see myself getting married than the three Khans doing a film together.
Ahem. Does that mean Salman is hinting at the fact that he might get married next year? We’ve previously told you how Salman had introduced popular Romanian TV actress and host, Iulia Vântur as his girlfriend at his sister, Arpita Khan‘s wedding. And recent rumours suggest that the actor is rather serious about his relationship with her. But he’s keeping it discreet as of now as he doesn’t want to jinx it like his previous relationships.
So is marriage on the cards for Salman Khan in 2015? Guess only time will tell!
