Model-turned-actress, Nimrat Kaur made her full-fledged Bollywood debut opposite Irrfan Khan in the critically acclaimed film, The Lunchbox. And the talented girl is being showered with various interesting movie offers ever since. But she’s ardent believer of quality over quantity and was waiting for the right script to come her way. After all, she has a lot of expectations riding on her shoulders after she delivered a flawless performance in her last outing.
And guess what? She has finally picked her dream project. Titled Airlift, this Raja Krishna Menon directorial is said to be based on the Indians who were stuck in Kuwait during the Gulf War. Nimrat will be seen playing a pivotal role in the flick and the actor who has been roped in opposite her is none other than superstar Akshay Kumar.
Naturally, Miss Kaur is more than thrilled to be sharing screen space with him. Talking about it, she told a leading daily, “Yes, I’ve signed a film called ‘Airlift’ opposite Akshay. It’s a very good story and we will shoot in Abu Dhabi. It is based on a real life story and I am very excited to work in this film.”
