No matter what your thoughts about the #AIBRoast, it’s clear that this whole situation has generated a lot of conversation. Yesterday, I told you guys how Russell Peters lashed out at Aamir Khan as the latter had recently spoken against the AIB guys. And a while ago, Sonakshi Sinha and Mahesh Bhatt had a mild Twitter argument because of it. After all, Mahesh’s daughter, Alia Bhatt, was present at the event and has been targeted by various haters of the roast. So, lately, the filmmaker has been going all out to express his unhappiness about the negativity surrounding the AIB Knockout.
And now, his elder daughter and Alia’s sister, has also come forward and spoken against the opponents of AIB. She told a leading daily:
I feel it’s hypocritical self-styled moralists and the Aamir Khans of the world, who are more frightening and injurious. I am appalled at his sudden self-righteous mode. He has completely forgotten his body of work — the double meaning song, Bhaag DK Bose — in Delhi Belly, and the PK poster where he left nothing to the imagination, putting Sunny Leone to shame!
Ouch. Gone are the days when Pooja and Aamir used to be like this.
