It seems five entire songs have been mercilessly chopped off from the final cut of Anurag Kashyap‘s Bombay Velvet. Apparently, the film was turning out to be too lengthy and that’s why the team had to do away with certain sequences. The flick’s editor from America, Thelma Schoonmaker, wanted all the songs to be removed. As a result of which, three tracks featuring Anushka Sharma and the other two with Raveena Tandon have been cut out.
So this is definitely not good news for Anushka and Raveena loyalists. While Anushka is the leading lady of the film and will be seen playing a pivotal role in it, Raveena had agreed to do a cameo only because Anurag happens to be a good friend of hers. Hence, considering most of her sequences have been now chopped off from the movie, she doesn’t seem to be too happy with it. Many are even wondering if Anushka is also upset with this development.
