If you thought wedding season was over, you thought wrong! Don’t put those bangles away just yet, it’s the season for summer brides and when there’s a wedding, there’s always a wedding dress. While the hunt could be endless and sometimes involves travelling to different cities, if you’re in town this weekend, you’re about to get lucky. Founded by Divya Gurwara and managed by her son Dhruv Gurwara, Bridal Asia is an exhibition that’s about to descend to Mumbai in the next few days.

Here’s what you need to know:

It’s Bridal Asia’s first time in Mumbai

Previously they’ve showcased in Delhi, Pakistan and even London but this is the first time they’re bringing their extensive exhibit to the bay. While it’s a first, going by their past success, we’re sure it’s going to be even better in Mumbai.

It’s taking place in the centre of the city

…at NSCI Stadium no less! Can you just imagine all the options available in THAT much space? The exhibit is set to start on Friday, the 10th of April and continue for 2 more days up to the 13th.

India’s topmost designers are involved

Of course they know that with your clothes you need bridal jewellery too, which is why they have Bridichand Ghanshyamdas of Jaipur, Rawat Jewellers, Mehta Jewellers, Hazoorilal by Sandeep Narang, MBj, Nemichand Bamalwa & Sons, Khanna Jewellers, Umrao Jewels and many others on display too.

Keep this in mind so you can make the most of it

Since it’s on such a large scale, make a priority list of designers you would like to check out. Along with this, make sure you decide on a style you’re looking for so you know what to keep a look out for. We suggest you decide your clothing before you head to the jewellery, this way you’ll make sure it’s a perfect match. And don’t forget to take some one along – bridal shopping isn’t something anyone can handle alone!

You might want to keep and eye out for Bridal Asia’s social media handles too – don’t want to miss out on anything, do you? Follow them on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
