This season of Masterchef India has a winner! Yay! It’s your favourite contestant Nikita Gandhi! The other deserving candidates Neha Shah won first runner up and Bhakti Arora took home the second runner-up prize.
Nikita won a cool Rs. 1 crore, making her a millionaire masterchef (that should be the name of the next season) while Neha and Bhakti took home Rs.10 and Rs.5 lakhs respectively. Judges Vikas Khanna, Sanjeev Kapoor and Ranveer Brar seemed rather pleased with the winners. Not only that, the show also had performances by comedian Siddharth Sagar, and a special dance by Chef Ripudaman and his fiancée Shivangi Verma, who were later joined by TV and movie star Gurmeet Choudhary and his wife Debina Bonnerjee.
Preity Zinta, Chetan Bhagat and Marzi Pestonji also made an appearance as their show Nach Baliye 7 will be the next reality show ruling prime time television! And yes, Chetan Bhagat is judging a dance reality show and no, that’s not supposed to be weird.

All in all, it was a fun finale and we’re now waiting for Season 5 to find out what’s cooking!
