Trust Alia Bhatt to give you the perfect outfit for the summer. Yes it’s a bit short but the long sleeves make up for it, right? Alia stepped out a couple of days ago to meet up with Queen director Vikas Bahl over dinner in an abstract printed dress. With her hair in a top knot and added brightness in the form of a pink sling, she made a wise decision by putting on a pair of nude, subtle wedges.
Take note, Alia let the dress do all the talking with no accessories and virtually NO makeup on her face either. What’s great about her dress is that it would work great for the day with a pair of flats, and in the night like she wore it too – I’d swap the sling for a clutch instead.
Tips to remember:
1. A pair of gladiators would turn up the edgy factor of the dress for the day.
2. Try not to mix prints when it comes to an outfit like this one. Keep the accessories minimal and nude.
3. If you find it too short, you can always add a solid coloured pencil skirt at the bottom. An electric blue or even a tan would work well.
