Charming, super fun and oh-so-witty, Ranbir Kapoor is always seen in a jovial mood (unless he catches the paparazzi invading his privacy). Naturally, a lot of us were flabbergasted to see his heartbreaking performance in Rockstar. I still find myself teary-eyed whenever I watch that movie. After all, RK Jr. was so convincing as Jarandhan aka Jordan! But who knew that the actor finds it rather difficult to shed tears in front of the camera?
In a recent interview to a leading daily, the Bombay Velvet director Anurag Kashyap revealed that Ranbir faces a lot of difficulties while shooting for emotional scenes. So in order to make him cry in front of the camera, the filmmaker often got him drunk on sets. Apparently, after getting drunk, Ranbir performed these sequences like a pro! Haha. Now, isn’t that quite cool? Kudos to this director-actor duo. Now, I can’t wait to watch the flick!
