Following the Mumbai High Court’s decision to clear Salman Khan of all charges, the Maharashtra Government has decided to appeal against this verdict in the Supreme Court. According to major news agencies, the Mumbai Police has been accused of busting up the entire investigation and the prosecution is not going to give up easily. Salman was accused of drunk driving which resulted in the death of one person and was given a 5 year jail sentence by the Sessions Court, the actor approached the High Court which has overturned the Sessions’ Court decision and cleared the actors of all charges. The prosecution now plans to appeal against this verdict in the Supreme Court according to CNN-IBN.
