Asin and Rahul Sharma got married in an intimate Church ceremony in the afternoon and have tied the knot as per Hindu wedding rituals a few hours ago. Indian Express got the lowdown of everything that happened during the Christian wedding of the couple.
A close relative of Rahul said –
It was a beautiful wedding. Everyone looked amazing. It was Asin’s idea to have a Catholic wedding. We all are very happy.
Akshay Kumar attended the wedding, and Delhi-based music band Elohim Worship performed at the wedding. Here’s what they said about the function –
Everything went great at the wedding. We played 2-3 songs. Asin looked beautiful in her white gown. We had a rehearsal yesterday.

The shaadi which happened in the evening, included jai mala and pheras. Akshay (dressed in a black tux) made his presence felt here as well. Rahul thankfully didn’t mount a horse but arrived in an open car for the baarat. The functions were extremely private with tight security arranged at the hotel entrance.
