Yesterday, I watched and reviewed Ram Madhvan‘s Neerja starring Sonam Kapoor in the title role (here’s the review). And I still quite zoned out as Neerja Bhanot‘s story has stayed with me. In fact, I think it is going to stay with me forever. Last time I felt like this after watching a movie was when I saw Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra‘s Rang De Basanti during my school days.
I am slightly older, slighter wiser (or so I’d like to believe) now and perhaps that’s why the impact that this new biographical film has left on me is immense. This heart-wrenching tale makes me want to live fully, love deeply, work heartily and most importantly, contribute in bringing humanity back into this world (yes, it is still there but not as much as we need it).
So I am extremely thankful to each and every person who helped in making this film see the light of the day. And also for the hard work that they had put to bring this real-life saga to us. Here are 5 behind-the-scenes video of the movie that you must watch.
