Every fashion girl knows the importance of a Chanel bag. Every beauty lover knows the luxe feel of a Chanel eye shadow. Put the two together and what do you get? Pure magic! Chanel d-ebuted their Fall/Winter 2017 collection at Paris Fashion Week, but our eyes were on the magnificent makeup.
Reminiscent of Chanel’s iconic quilted bags, makeup artist, Tom Pecheux, created a cool criss-cross design across the models’ eyes. This fishnet-like effect was both sexy and bold, and provided a unique twist to the regular smoky eye. Ample amounts of mascara helped define the look. To keep the spotlight on the eyes, the rest of the makeup was kept muted in the form of dewy complexions and soft lips.
The icing on top? The models who showed off this look! From Gigi Hadid to Kendall Jenner, the runway was teeming with supermodels who carried off the styles with ease.
